Newport Pagnell Fishing Association

NPFA takes great pride in offering its members access to some of the most remarkable stretches of river and pristine still waters for unparalleled fishing experiences.

Our exclusive association waters provide a haven for anglers of all levels, ensuring a diverse range of specimen fish that will leave you in awe. From magnificent Carp weighing up to an impressive 32lbs 4oz, mighty Pike reaching 30lbs, and majestic Barbel up to 16lbs, to an abundance of Chub, Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch, and Rudd, there is an astonishing array of species waiting to be caught in our waters. Whatever your angling preferences, we guarantee that there is something for every passionate angler within our club's picturesque expanse of lakes and rivers.

Imagine being surrounded by secluded and mature lakes, with scenic river stretches that offer solitude and tranquility. Aside from organized matches, you can often find yourself with the entire river stretch or even a whole lake entirely to yourself. The absence of tarmac roads or paths, manicured swims, bustling roads, and public access further enhances the allure of our fishery. If you yearn for a serene and undisturbed fishing spot, far away from the mainstream, then NPFA is the perfect club for you.

Over the years, NPFA has undergone numerous transformative changes, underlining our commitment to enhancing the fishing experience for our members. Our dedicated work parties tirelessly undertake the task of maintaining and improving swim access, ensuring that our anglers have easy access to prime fishing locations. One significant improvement was the reopening of vehicle access and parking through the Sherington Lakes complex, which has made a substantial difference to the convenience of our members.

To further enrich our fishing grounds, we have introduced VS carp into the Big Pit. With sufficient funding, this could mark the beginning of an extensive stocking program, ensuring the introduction of magnificent specimens for future generations of anglers to enjoy.
